As the exhilarating Summer of Sports unfolds on our televisions, Babybel envisions a nation where the love for sports isn’t confined to passive spectatorship but is instead a catalyst for getting active and showing some community spirit.

Competition Terms and Conditions

These are the terms and conditions for the Babybel® “Summer of Sport” competition. There is one main prize consisting of a £5,000 sponsorship and kit and three runners up prizes consisting of £1,000 donations. The donation must be made to a UK based grassroots sports club or team.

This Promotion is only open to residents of the UK over the age of 18. You do not have to buy anything to take part in this Promotion.

To ensure fairness, employees of the promoter and anyone else professionally connected to this Promotion are not allowed to enter.

What constitutes a grassroots team or club?

Organised sports team or club, practised at a local level by amateur sports people.
Must be a UK based non-professional club or team.
The team must be affiliated to their sport’s national governing body (e.g. Football Association, The Rugby Football Union, All England Netball Association, The National Hockey League or equivalent).

Entry period

The competition will open AT 9.00am on June 21st 2024.
The competition will close to entries at midnight on 21st August 2024. Entries received after this time will not be eligible.

How to enter

Entry is free. To enter fill out all details in the form describing in less than 250 words why your team deserves to win the prize.
Each eligible entry will be entered into the competition for consideration by the judging panel.
Each person may submit as many entries as they wish as long as it adheres to the competition T&C’s.
Winning entrants agree that their image or content submitted may be used in any publicity material in relation to the Babybel‘s “Summer of Sport” competition.
By taking part in this competition, you agree to the Babybel Summer of Sport Competition Terms and Conditions.

Winner selection

An independent panel of judges will select the final winners based on the most compelling entries. Winners will be contacted within 30 days of the competition ending by a Babybel representative by telephone and/or email. The prize will be donated within a further 30 days of the winner being announced.
Winners have 7 days from initial notification to confirm acceptance of their prize, otherwise the judging panel will select another winner.
The winning teams and clubs will be verified and must be affiliated to their sport’s governing body.
The prizes are not transferable.
Entrants must be 18+ years old to enter and entries must be UK only.
The winning teams will be contacted and announced on the Babybel website: www.babybel.uk.

By entering this competition, each entrant agrees that any personal information provided in connection with competition may be held and used by the promoter (and/or its agents and suppliers) to contact winners. Data will not be used for any other purpose or subject to further processing .
Any personal information provided as part of an entry for a period of three months after the competition has closed, or in the case of winners after the prize has been provided will be kept for a period of three months.
